It’s safe to say that we couldn’t be more excited for a couple of reasons:
1. We’re back in New York City, which is one of the most magical places in the world, obviously.
2. We’re reunited from a whole month of not seeing each other.
3. For the first time in a solid 6-9 months, both of us don’t have 5,000 things on our plate so we’re able to spend some time doing all that we love & that’s blogging all of our adventures + what we’re loving.
When dealing with cooler conditions, sometimes style is trumped by comfort & warmth. One of our favorite ways to keep that happy medium is buy wearing some pants that are different from your average denim or black jeans.
Slacks: We’ve been too stoked and obsessed with this trend, wearing pants that are 1. just as comfortable as literal pajama bottoms but 2. the easiest way to dress up an outfit. It’s so easy to either add a chunky sweater or a basic t-shirt with a jacket and make it look like you tried way more than you actual did (& if you’ve followed us for any time, you know that we’re always all about comfort & style).
Corduroy Cropped Pants: This awesome pair of pants are from Urban Outfitters & we got them during their BOGO sale for 50% off which was a total steal!
Both of these pants are so easy to pair with simple sweaters & t-shirts, definetly stapes for a cold trip!
Safe to say that these two sweaters are going to be the most worn in our wardrobes this winter!
Grey Cut-Out Sweater: One of the raddest sweaters we’ve ever seen/owned, we’re seriously obsessed with this cut-out style & turtle neck. It’s not only different from anything we’ve ever seen but it’s also essential in keeping our necks warm during those cooler temperatures.
Black Turtleneck Knit Sweater: Only $20 & one of the most flattering, (is that even possible when it comes to a chunky sweater?) cropped sweater that we own! Comes in your classic black and also tan.
Both of these simple, chunky sweaters can be pair with our simple statement pants & makes a cute, comfortable, and warm outfit.
Coats, conductor hats, and oversized scarves that could basically be throw blankets. There are all items that we haven’t been leaving the house without all season but especially during this trip to NYC! Perfect for layering up with or just adding to an outfit for an extra something.

This is just a super quick blog post we wanted to throw together to kick off all of our posts that will be going up from our trip to New York. We can’t wait to create content again and share all that’s been on our hearts & minds.
Thanks for reading, babes.
